Vitamin B12 is important in functions associated with energy, your heart, nerves, and many more! Naturally we should be able to consume B12 from the soil through plants; however, in this day and age that is almost impossible. Therefore, people usually get it from their animal intake. When switching to a plant-based diet, it is important to supplement B12 from a pill, droplets, or through B12 enriched foods.
Taking a multivitamin is not 100% suggested nor frowned upon.
